How to Set Up IPTV on Android TV and TV Boxes

Short answer

Install Downloader by AFTVnews from Google Play, allow it under Settings → Device Preferences → Security & restrictions → Unknown sources, type 395800 and press Go. Install Hot Player and send us the MAC address it shows.

Step 1 — Install Downloader

Open the Google Play Store on the TV or box, search for Downloader by AFTVnews and install it.

Step 2 — Allow unknown sources for Downloader

  1. Settings → Device Preferences → Security & restrictions.
  2. Open Unknown sources and switch Downloader on.

Menu names vary slightly between manufacturers; look for “Security” and “Unknown sources” if your box uses different wording.

Step 3 — Download Hot Player

  1. Open Downloader, type 395800 in the box and press Go.
  2. When the download finishes press Install.

Step 4 — Activate

Open Hot Player and send us the MAC address on the screen (a photo is fine). We add your subscription. How MAC activation works.

Prefer a username and password?

Frequently asked questions

Manufacturers rename menus. Look for Security, then Unknown sources, and allow Downloader there.
