What the MAC address is
A MAC address is an identifier Hot Player shows for your device, written like 00:1A:79:XX:XX:XX. Because the subscription is attached to that identifier, you never type a server or password on the TV — which removes the most common setup mistake: a typo in the login.
Where to find it
- Fire TV Stick / Android TV: install Hot Player with Downloader code 395800 (guide), then open it.
- Samsung / LG: install Hot Player from the TV’s store (guide), then open it.
- iPhone / iPad / Windows: install Hot Player from the App Store or Microsoft Store, then open it.
What to send us
- A photo or screenshot of the Hot Player screen showing the MAC address is the safest — no typos.
- Tell us which subscription it belongs to (the email you used when buying).
- After we confirm, close and reopen Hot Player.
“Device not registered” or the playlist will not add
Hot Player itself may ask for the device to be registered before a playlist can be added. If you see that message, contact us with a photo of the screen and we will tell you the options for your device.
Moving to a new TV
A subscription plays on one device at a time and you can move it whenever you like. A new device has a new MAC, so send us the new one.
